A Graduate Thesis Film for the University of California's Department of Theater Arts. Presented by the Los Angeles County Health Department Bureau of Sanitation. The film gives a brief history and overview of the interaction of flies and humans in homes with farms, homes near farms and homes in urban areas. It traces the cause of flies to animals living with humans and sanitation problems, then provides guidelines for community fly control. Also shows the four-phase life cycle of flies, with macro lens close-ups of flies at each stage. Color and black and white picture with sound. Leader has a punch hole for synchronization.
